Weekly meetings

Stocksbridge Running Club host weekly social group runs on a Monday night. There is no obligation to join the club to come and try out our Monday training session. Just come down and give us a try for free, see if you like it, no pressure. All we ask is you contact us first in advance so we can have a quick chat and we can make sure you are already a the required level to run with us and make sure you have no medical issues we need to be made aware of.

Please note: We welcome all new runners, and will never leave anyone behind on one of our training runs. But if you cannot run for an hour and/or a minimum of 6 miles/10KM without stopping, we would advise you definitely get in touch before joining us on a training run.

Safety: During the late autumn and winter months the majority of our training runs are in the dark, for your own safety please wear high visibility clothing and a head torch. This kit is mandatory for our winter runs. If you turn up with the wrong kit you can not run with us as it’s just not safe. Runners safety is my priority. Running and other advice can be found on our Guidelines for Running Groups page.
